A week at Myrtle Beach reminded me that a place is never only what adults have decided it is for.
Absolutely beautiful and poignant. Spot on. I'm remembering Ocracoke and the grands, their temporary beach friends, kids somehow join together for castle building and screaming at waves, never to meet again.
