Yes to ecological theology informed by hard physics!! I’m circling around related synergies, more an extension of Thomas Berry and Dave Abram (and Gary Snyder.. and and and), toward adoration and embodiment within the larger solar and galactic bodies….still an open question whether it’ll blossom into written forms.
I’ve been seeking a cogent lay entry into the nature/form/dynamics of plasma, so look forward to exploring this paper. Thanks for sharing it.
PS Yay CIIS! I chose JFKU back in the 80’s, Interdisciplinary Consc. Studies, which for me took a direction not unlike yours, around humanity, nature, and spirit.
Thanks for the tip, just subscribed to Matthew. Brian has of course been formative—when I came of age, Green Dragon was the first/only taste of Thomas that was out there! I have dipped in and out of his work since Universe Story…if it’s easy, any pointers to where he gets into plasma?
That's great to hear about JFKU again... lots of respect and love for the work that was done there!
Matthew Segal ( https://footnotes2plato.substack.com/ ) and also Brian Swimme at CIIS have done some great work on plasma and panpsychism in this area as well... highly recommend if you haven't checked out their work!
